Machine slow to activate. Prefer old scanning method that I used on my Brother MFC 2750DW. Heavy on INK cartridges

This printer does not duplex scan. It only duplex prints. A lot of the wording in the advertising of this product leads you to believe it will scan double sided. I was so annoyed when I found out this feature is not there. I have also had ongoing issues with its connectivity to my computer. Worst brother machine I have ever had. Do not recommend.
