Hilleberg Staika wanderzelt

The footprint fits the whole tent base out to the flysheet.

The three points I really like about the Staika are; 1. It is free standing and can be moved about to find the best site after it has been erected. 2. The fly sheet come right down to the ground all around the tent. 3. There is plenty of room in the tent bag to stuff the tent back inside.

The material is good quality, waterproof, not too heavy and covers the vestibule area which is great. If you are going to spend $945.00 for Hilleberg tent you should buy the footprint and preserve the tent. Still it is a footprint and lays there on the ground doing what a footprint does, not much more you can say in a review.

Makes it a 'breeze' to set-up and tear down/pack up of the complete tent. Simplicity is everything when you've had a long day and need to make things happen fast and easy/foolproof. MUCH better than struggling with a separate ground sheet in the wind.,,Probably over-kill, but I use this tent mostly for canoe trips in the Canadian Shield and don't mind packing the extra weight.
