Having a Dualit toaster for over 30 years. Still works perfectly as it can be taken apart and cleaned or part replaced. I finally ordered the classic kettle. It's robust and too soon to tell how well it will last.

So far I am loving this kettle! It has no silly features like differing boil temperatures etc.
