This is a nice quality kettle. Boils 1 liter of water in about 2 minutes. Its easy to fill with a button to open the lid. The handle is generous size for my big hands and it pours water well. It has a red light on the switch when boiling and would say it was an average noise level when boiling. Matches other white appliances in the kitchen. I have had 2 of these and the first lasted about 5 years.

As part of a suite of items for the kitchen this fit our colour scheme well. My only negative is that is not manufactured in the EU or Britain. I see Bosch as a premium European brand for this sector. so why the mis-match?

I always get Bosch kettles because they are made to last. My last kettle of 6yrs was getting tatty and the filter had perished from use, so it was time for an upgrade from plastic to stainless steel. I've had this kettle for a few weeks now and it doesn't disappoint. Reasonably quiet, fast boil, comfortable thick handle for grip and pouring boiling water...it's modern and stylish in design. The top opens fully unlike some other brands, making it easy to fill and the filter is firmly fixed to the pouring spout, unlike other kettle where the removal filter can keep coming loose and falling out into the kettle. What's not to like! I also have faith that it will last a number of years .

I bought the kettle with the see-through liquid viewer on the side, after reading the reviews. It works fine there, easy to see. True, the lid doesn’t open fully but it’s absolutely not an issue and doesn’t cause any problems. Fast boiler, looks attractive in the kitchen. Pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

Very stylish well made ķettle but i had t o return it as I'm getting on a bit and it is quite heavy, also 2ins taller than my old one so not much space under cabinet, Would look lovely in a spacious modern kitchen. Didn't get as far as switching it on but as it's a Bosch it should be good,
