Salomon Quest 4 Gore-tex Breite Wanderschuhe

Wanted to try these for a while and really wanted to like them. And then I got them on sale, I'm starting to see why. I just got them and can already tell it's going to go through the sole seperation issue. There's random blotches of glue sticking out at almost every seem which just doesn't feel right even for cheap boots. Quality seem on par with any cheap box store boots at a quarter of the price to be honest. I'll have to break them in to tell. So far the comfort is, well, nothing to write home about. They honestly feel really stiff so far, even more than my steel toe work boots. I'll update my review as I keep using them, but so far, meh. I rather my old Scarpas by a long run. I was told these wouldn't last as long but would be lighter and more comfortable. But time will tell... Not really impressed so far to be honest.

Highly comfortable, great ankle support, no break-in period, and plenty of room in the toe box. Also great for my high arches. Worn on multi-day hikes and day hikes from the West Coast Trail to the high alpine the Rockies. Excellent boots! Note that the Euro sizing is a bit off. I’m always a 39 in Euro sizing but for some reason I’m size 40 2/3 (yes, that’s forty and two thirds) in these boots.

I purchased these boots for myself for Christmas. I've been wearing them almost daily since then and I can tell you that they are very comfortable and warm on long hikes. I would percent recommend!!

This is the second pair I have bought for myself and my husband. These held up great for me for 2 years before they needed replacing. My husband is a little harder on footwear and he found them really comfortable for about a year and a half. We use these often - probably 3-4 hikes every week. We live in NL and it’s all exposed rock out this way. Boots have great ankle support and the soles held up quite well considering the terrain. These are excellent boots. They do run at least a half size large. Will definitely buy again.

Got the boot for Christmas if I had the receipt I would have returned them. They have me blisters on both of my heels.The one lace hook popped off i had to get fixed.The rubber is different I slipped on dry rocks let alone wet ones is like walking on ice.DONT NOT BUY THIS BOOT. I have had nothing but trouble with them. Salomon you guys should be ashamed of this disgrace of a product you put out here. What had to you guys you used to put out quality products not anymore
