I am surprised at how good they feel. I added 1.5 cm to the length of my feet and got a perfect fit. They do the job I need them to do especially on uneven, rocky surfaces.

I tried many shoes in my 30Y history. Many of brands after first few model went bad. Salewa still continues to produce good shoes.

Hiked in these boots for 5 solid days with no problems. Super comfortable and light. Best hiking boots I have had for awhile.

Just received the product (fast delivery, just on the 4th working day from Germany to Portugal). I am delighted! I haven't used it off-road yet but I feel like it will be perfect. They are very comfortable, light weight, have extra space for warm socks, but also have additional insoles to reduce the size. Recently I bought Salomon Gore Tex Waterproof Trekking Boots - Quest 4 GTX , but trying them at home I feel uncomfortable. Returned them back and ordered these ones. Feels much better

Lightweight - Yes. Waterproof - Questionable. Comfortable - Questionable - yes in dry conditions. The problem with this boot is that although the length and width of the boot increases with size designation, the quarter does not increase in size proportionally. This results in a boot which fits a size 45/UK10.5 foot but a size 42/UK8 ankle and shin meaning that the throat is too wide and the Uppers do not overlap the tongue. This is problem is extenuated for those with a high instep. Regardless of the quality of materials, the boot has no hope of remaining water tight when there is a gap between the uppers and the tongue. This is unfortunate as otherwise this is a very good piece of kit which can be tuned to fit exteremely well.
