On Running Wanderschuhe Cloudrock Low WP Damen Black-Schuhgröße 40

Took these on a couple of hikes through Shenandoah, and most hikes were done post-rain, so there was mud and some trekking through shallow waters, but these held up and kept my feet dry! Very good with grip too imo, The bottoms were wet but i was still walk to walk up rocks and sloped terrain no problem (20-30% grade).

I bought for a trip to Norway. After 1 day in Bergen, touring in the rain my feet were wet. There is a seam from the tip of the toe back to the laces. This is not visible from the outside but you can feel the seam in the lining. This seam leaks water. Apparently the Swiss have not figured out how to engineer a waterproof seam.

Bought two separate pairs of these and neither were waterproof! Socks and feet are soaked. DO NOT BUY IF LOOKING FOR WATERPROOF!!!

Based on very high gear reviews I purchased. The reviews were right…very comfortable shoes on light and mid trekking and street travel. And lightweight. To be honest I’m not used to the cushiony feel type shoes having always worn Merrell and Salomon for this type of activity, but no complaints about the Cloudrock. Everything they promised. Just miss a liitle the secure crunch feel of foot on ground.

The shoes are very comfortable, though I wish I could tie them tighter. The lacing makes that difficult. The waterproofing did not hold up though. I had wet feet three times during my vacation last week. I'll be trying to return these to REI later today. If you don't plan on hiking in wet or muddy conditions, they are very comfortable. I also made a mistake in buying a lighter colored shoe, which got very dirty and wont clean off...
