I have picky feet akin to those of a Hobbit. Many sneakers, the inboard side of the soul cuts in too narrow and the meat of my arch falls on an edge. That or the toe box is too tight. Whenever I need new running sneakers I tell myself I won’t buy Ghosts but I end up doing it anyways because they’re the best fit for me. I only avoid them because they run hot during the summers (no issues in winter). Well finally I found a new pair of sneakers I can alternate with my Ghosts. These fit me great and the material is thinner and more breathable than the ghosts. They’re slightly more cushioned and a bit awkward for normal walks but awesome for Tempo runs. I wear a size 10 with Ghost 17s. I wear a size 10.5 of these Fuelcell Rebels. A size 10 might have been okay, a size 10.25 would’ve been perfect.

This is my third pair of the new balance fuel cell. It is my favorite shoe. I wear them daily and they last me at least a year.

These shoes were so bad after wearing a few hours I really feel they were defective. The fit was tight in some places and loose in others. Across the top I had such pain in my right foot. In the left foot the pain was at the top part of my ankle. I have another pair in a different color that are good which is why I ordered another pair. At this point I have returned and I am waiting for a refund. I am hopeful this company issues one soon.
