This TV is amazing until the warranty runs out. Beautiful picture great sound. Shocks people when they realize it’s not a piece of art. However, entirely too convenient that less than 2 weeks after the warranty runs out it stops working suddenly. I’ve had some great Samsung products and I was very pleased with this one for 2 years and 12 days. Turns out the screen went out and costs about $1400 to replace if you can find one. The TV itself was $1800. Samsung was not helpful at all because it’s past its warranty date. Wouldn’t even help find an authorized repair shop. Goodbye Samsung! I won’t be buying anything else from you. Not after this scam.

After about a year of use the TV started displaying connection issues with the provided box. The issues were clearly a glitch because the screen would often play without issue before the connection screen would come on and the sound would still be on. Found a few ways to get by the connection screen, but it eventually stopped working and the screen could not be bypassed. The TV is now useless less than 2.5 years after purchase.

Worked good enough for 2 years, but then suddenly stopped working. Customer service worked with us for awhile but eventually told us that a repair person would need to come and it would cost $1500 (the cost of a new one). And that was just for them to come to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Samsung stands behind their products. A TV that costs this much should have a longer life imo. Love the idea of this TV, but not a good long term value.
