Der Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5898/50 wird für sein komfortables Rasiererlebnis und minimale Hautirritation gelobt, auch bei täglicher Anwendung. Das Gerät ist vollständig wasserdicht und kann sowohl nass als auch trocken verwendet werden, was Flexibilität bietet. Die Akkulaufzeit ist hervorragend und das Laden geht schnell. Der flexible Scherkopf folgt den Gesichtskonturen gut und sorgt für ein glattes Ergebnis. Das Gerät ist leise und wirkt hochwertig. Nachteile sind, dass der Trimmer nicht fest einrastet und leicht zurückklappt sowie dass der Scherkopf manchmal das Sichtfeld verdeckt. Für sehr dichten oder festen Bartwuchs ist das Rasurergebnis weniger zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt eine starke Wahl in der Mittelklasse, besonders für Nutzer, die Wert auf Komfort und Bedienfreundlichkeit legen.

I purchased this unit to replace an old Series 500 shaver that I had for over 5 years until the battery finally died. This new shaver is a pleasure to use. Smooth, quiet and fast. Highly recommend this shaver to anyone who enjoys a quick and close shave.

Shave's very nicely now. I do find the head part to be a bit too baulky, but am trying to see if I can find better ways of shaving if I change the way I hold the shaver.

Impressed with the shaver that was purchased from Amazon.Holds it's charge well and not a bad shaver at all, the plastic guard is on the shaver top is a poor design As it bad to try and clip on. I purchased the one with the additional cleaning gel but you pay about £30 to ,40 pounds more And it not worth thee price.You can purchase just the shave and case alot cheaper so don't fall into the trap I did.On the hole not the closest shave but well above the average good little purchase and pleased with it

Great shaver, provides a nice close shave without irritation. I've had the razor about a month now and have only had to charge it once. Very impressed
