Panasonic ER-SC40 Premium Grooming Series

My husband has been using this for a month now and absolutely loves it. He also has a couple of other devices for grooming too but loves trying out new products, This comes well packaged with everything you need. It simply needs charging and off you go. It’s a nice product, noisier than some (my autistic son won’t go near it) but excellent at what it does. You do need to remember to charge it regularly but this isn’t an issue.

I really like these clippers. They're lightweight and fit well in the hand and being cordless are very easy to use. My favourite thing about them is that you don't need to put different size guards on them, you simply adjust the height of the blade with the dial that is clearly marked in half steps from 1mm to 10mm. Once you've charged it up, which took about an hour, simply choose what cut you want, I chose 2.5mm, and away you go. The ergonomic grip makes it very easy to use, even around the back and above and behind the ears, and I shall be happy to replace my existing clippers with these as I think they do a better job. For me, the only downside is the price, which is pretty steep compared to some other makes, but I've been having to use clippers to cut what's left of my hair (sob!) for the last 15 years, including a professional set and two others by well known brands and I'd honestly say that these are the easiest to use and have given the best results. Definitely recommended.

This is 100% the business. it cuts really well, the adjustment is easy and precise and there is plenty of power in it so it never feels as though it is likely to get jammed in your beard. This model does not have a trimmer unlike some of the other otherwise very similar Panasonics, so you may want to be aware of that if that is important to you. The battery life is remarkable - i think i've only charged mine once in maybe 6 months? It is distinctly expensive, but its most certainly quality

This is a well made hair clipper. Easy to use and comfortable to hold. Dad has used a hair clipper for years and says this is one of the best ne has ever used. Cuts well and fast. It is a bit expensive for an item that does have a limited life as the instructions say the battery will work for about three years and cannot be replaced. Included is a carry case and some oil.

I'm not an expert in using hair clippers by any means but at my son's request I got these to try out on his hair (brave!). You have to charge them up got an hour before first use and then they're ready to go. I found them comfortable to hold and fairly easy to use. But I do think practice is the key so hopefully I will get better as I use them more. The result was quite good and the cut is precise. They are quite expensive though for an item which is only expected to last around three years as it's battery is not replaceable. That's the only downside for me.
