Das Sangean PR-D17 ist ein hochwertiges tragbares Radio, speziell für Sehbehinderte entwickelt. Es bietet hervorragenden AM/FM-Empfang, klare Stereo-Lautsprecher und viele praktische Funktionen wie Sprachansagen, große Tasten, Uhr, Wecker und Sleep-Timer. RDS und mehrere Sprachen erhöhen den Bedienkomfort. Der AM-Klang ist etwas dumpf, und das Scannen ist durch die Sprachansagen langsamer. Es gibt keine Bass-/Höhenregelung und das Gerät ist relativ groß. Für Nutzer, die eine zugängliche und vielseitige Radio mit Top-Empfang suchen, ist dies eine ausgezeichnete Wahl.

I recently developed macular degeneration and can no longer work a standard radio (at least with any ease). This radio has saved the day. Controls are clear and easy to use. Selections of individual stations for the preset buttons was simple, and the buttons themselves are easy to locate. One button that announces the time, even when the radio is turned off. Only one complaint. I could not read the setup instructions, so a fully sighted person had to do that. It would be nice to have a large-print sheet with the basic setup, without having to wade through "don't use this radio in the bathtub." So, many thanks for offering this radio, and at a reasonable price.

I love this radio. Everything talks, and is very intuitive. The sound quality exceeded my expectations! I wish you could turn down the volume on the voice prompts. It would be amazing to have it be bluetooth, but fabulous.
