This printer replaced my older B&W toner printer. So far I've printed about 600 pages on it. I feel fairly confident it will last many years of use. I think it's a great alternative to toner printers, with savings and environmental benefits. (Toner is microplastics which get fused onto the page) I like the paper tray design a lot. The printer body is plastic and I do wish it had a stronger feel to it. My only downside with this printer is that it can't print 8.5x14" legal size documents. But otherwise I think this is a well designed and solid printer which can easily replace any toner laser printer. It has a good scanner too.

Not sure why it was not compatable with my software program, kept defaulting back to recipient fax instead of printing a check. Had softwear tech.support and professionally installed.

Con- display area for machine functions is small, manufacturer could have made the display bigger. There is a hesitation before it prints but its not that bad. Pro - machine prints good, is dependable and easy to use. Ink is very affordable and last.

The usage for this printer is user friendly and easy to operate. setup is also very explainable with no issues.

Printer jammed about twice a day. Printer doesn't tell you that its jammed until you open the diagnostic tool on your PC. Don't worry, you will learn to identify and clear a jam quickly. Printer was extremely efficient on a price per page basis. printer eject pages out the back so you will need access to both sides. You cant really use this against a wall. The printing speed was as slow as advertised but the scanning speed was seemingly worse. The lid has awful hinges and its easy to smash it down on the glass. I imagine something breaks there early for a lot of people. I counted, the printer needs 8 different programs installed on at least one pc to do most basic printer functions. The screen is so small it requires a stylus. The UI in the printer can be frustrating at times by requiring unnecessary closing of windows that could be automated by the printer. I have sent back the printer but the 8 programs on my pc still harass me.
