I am new to printers, and never used one before. The Brother printer is easy to use. The directions help get you started. To those who love technology this will be easy for you to use. I love this printer because it is easy to read the directions. You make a mistake try again, its worth your time. It took me less than a month to know this Printer and how to use it. I recommend this printer to all who want a good printer. Thank you

I really wanted to like this printer. Unfortunately it has fallen short in several key areas. Very hard to clear paper jams- inkvestment system wastes a ton of ink in following Brother's instructions to remedy print issues. Brother phone support is abysmal- staff appear untrained, follow up phone calls do not happen. Enormous wait times for return calls (first call was 4.5 hours). While on phone with Brother technical assistance in performing their instructions, I was unable to continue the work due to "ink supply insufficient" even though the display showed 120 pages left of ink. I was told I had to buy new ink carts to continue. After doing so the tech help determined the printer had to be replaced - guess what? all the ink ($80) wasted as it got pumped into the tanks. My advice? Stick to removable ink carts that can go into the replacement printer.

Having been very satisfied with an old Brother printer,MFC-J875DW, that finally died after 10 years, I'm disappointed that this 3 month old printer is know having paper jams on a regular basis. I'm using good quality 94 bright, 20 lb. paper. Are there remedies to this issue that apparently is not rare with this model?

After having owned a black and white Brother printer for 10+ years without a hitch, I decided that I would like to have a color printr. I purchased this printer and at first it worked fine but ever since changing out the black ink when it ran out the print quality has not been good at all. I have tried all the maintenance and cleaning tips from Brother to resolve the issue and even though the test page comes out ok the printing remains wavy and disjointed. Disappointing.

AN EXCELLENT MACHINE, THE 3RD I HAVE OWNED SINCE I HAVE BEEN USING PRINTERS. SERVICE IS JUST AS GOOD, OR MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN THE MACHINE ITSELF!!
