Celestron Firstscope 76

Having been in Astronomy since May 11th, 2018 I purchased the Telescope the Celestron First Scope. The Telescope Celestron First Scope is great to use you just sweep left to right up and down and you get your target. The Stars and the Moon come in crisp and clear. Celestron makes great Telescope and the Celestron First Scope is more bang for the buck. Also you can get the Celestron First Scope Accessory Kit and the kit will inhance the Telescope. Buying the telescope will make Astronomy and you will have fun.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson and it is the second one I have bought because of recommendation from an older grandson

I just can't get on with the finder scope, which was the main reason I bought the accessory kit. It attaches easily enough to the scope, but then seems impossible to use. With the telescope sat upright on a table looking at stars above, you have to crane your head right under the scope to try and use the finder. In the dark, you can't really discern where the crosshairs are lying on. The other lenses are ok, but I tend to use either the 20mm or the 4mm provided in the original set, so these felt a bit superfluous.

I have started using these, they are ok. I need a bit more practise with them to get the full use out of them yet.

Good first scope for the kids and easy to setup and use.
