Streamlight Protac HL

Nice little flashlight. Bright plus strobe capability. I personally do not like the switch. Panic/fear, urgency of need, reduce the likelihood of the number of “taps” being what you want. Would prefer simple high, low, strobe switch. Programmability of switch is of no interest to me and unnecessary complexity. Overall, above average, powerful light.

My second Streamlight and quickly becoming a fan of their products. This light comes in a great size and the 3 modes are fantastic. I keep it on the low/high mode and it's perfect. Output is very impressive and it feels very durable

I had several tactical lights before and still do, however this one seems to be at the top of my list. The brilliance is great along with the size. Actually when I ordered this light I was excepting the device to be a little larger, however the size is just right. Easy to care and pack. I would definitely recommend this light.

I originally bought two of these-one for work and one to replace a far inferior model that I thankfully dropped and broke. I was so impressed I bought two more for our cars. The illumination level is such that I can flood my entire back yard. The option of a lower output level is also a nice feature as it is adequate for most applications.

I purchased both the ProTac and PolyTac to compare. Main use will be for HD shotgun. I was not sure about how many lumens would work for MY purposes.
