Maglite Mag-Tac LED

This is a good torch for tactical purposes. It compares superior to a similar sized Led Lenser. The only down-side is the on/off toggle at the back. It tends to be difficult to select constant light, but otherwise this is an excellent unit for the price & BHPhotoVideo are brilliant to deal with as an international buyer!

Ich besitze schon einige LED- Taschenlampen, doch die XL50 von Mag- Lite überzeugt mich im Hinblick auf Qualität und Bedienbarkeit am meisten. Die Lampe erzeugt ein kalt- weißes LED- Licht mit hellem Spot in der Mitte ( wichtig zur Ausleuchtung weit entfernter Objekte ). Allerdings wäre es noch besser, wenn man den Licht- strahl stufenlos fokussieren könnte ( von Flut- auf Punktlicht ). Sehr praktisch ist der Energiesparmodus, welcher durch einen schnellen Doppel- Klick auf den Endkappen- Schalter angesteuert wird. 25 % Leuchtkraft reichen oftmals völlig aus, und die Batterie- Lebensdauer erhöht sich dadurch beträchtlich ! Alles in allem ist die XL50 eine LED- Taschenlampe der Extra- Klasse, die auch im harten Einsatz voll überzeugt.

I was searching for a new, high-powered flashlight in a relatively-smaller size, and without the complication of too many "modes." This is as bright as my much-larger current LED flashlight, while the electronic on-off button on the tail cap is super easy to activate, with "momentary-on" being one light press, "steady-on" with 2 presses, strobe with 3, and "off" from any mode with another steady press - simple (if you don't need lower power settings). The beam's reach and smooth pattern is great. I find the weight just enough to feel sturdy, and 5.25" length are just right, as well. While I haven't used the flashlight enough, yet, to know how long the batteries last, I can say that I am truly happy with this purchase, including the price.

I had owned the Mag-Tac for only a few days when it rolled off the kitchen counter unto a wood floor. After it fell, I picked it up and the button on the rear of the Mag-Tac would not keep the light turned on... it works fine as long as you don't drop it!!! Now it is worthless to me.

I'm really liking this handheld flashlight by Maglite. It is really bright and has a full beam tap, full on tap and a low light full on. The size is medium large but it has a nice heft to it and the belt clip is solid. Since moving to a country area this light is perfect.
