Black Diamond Lampen / Dynamos SPOT 400-R HEADLAMP

I bought this Diamond rechargeable headlamp last year for myself. It was so good that this year I got one for my daughter for her birthday. This is the best lightweight rechargeable headlamp.

If you prefer simplicity this is the one to get. I use the headlamp only for astronomy so usually either the red lamp mode or off, rarely the white light. The beauty of this lamp is while in red, or white, mode it's a one button on-off without forced cycling through useless blinking sequences. Also nice for hiking without blinding your friends while trying to get the light to shut off And, finally, a headlamp manufacturer has discovered the concept of a button that can be easily located and operated while wearing gloves. Nobel Prize stuff!

Best price to quality Headlamp I say even more so better than their more expensive cousins the storm models as these have their blue battery lights facing away from your eyes. Only downside are the battery clips that look like its gonna snap one day you try change the batteries. 400 lumen is all you need for battery efficiency. Nothing wrong with anaconda but its a design flaw I guess on black diamonds part.

Fantastic flexible and robust headlamp. Battery length is great. Love that it's rechargeable.
