Das Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE bietet überraschend viel Preis-Leistung als Budget-Tablet unter 250 Euro. Das Aluminium-Unibody fühlt sich hochwertig an und der 90Hz-Bildschirm ist angenehm flüssig für den täglichen Gebrauch. Der Akku hält bei normaler Nutzung problemlos mehrere Tage. Allerdings ist die Grafikleistung begrenzt - Spiele laufen zwar, aber auf niedrigeren Einstellungen mit weniger schöner Grafik. Moderne Sicherheitsoptionen wie ein Fingerabdruckscanner fehlen ebenfalls. Das Aufladen dauert lange durch die begrenzte 10W-Unterstützung. Für intensives Gaming oder produktives Arbeiten mit Stylus und Tastatur ist dieses Tablet weniger geeignet. Aber für Entertainment wie Netflix, YouTube, Websurfen und E-Mail ist es eine ausgezeichnete Wahl mit solider Leistung im Snapdragon 680-Prozessor.

If you think an iPad mini is too expensive an investment, this is a solid tablet in a similarly compact form factor. But the list of things we wish were better is long. Everything from a tired old chipset and slow storage to a low-res screen and poor audio. You can’t ask for much at this price, but it’s worth spending slightly more to get a better tablet overall.

Sollte mein 10 Jahre altes Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4 ersetzen. Daraus wird nichts. Punkt 1 Es ist nicht schneller. Von Einschalten bis Display aktiv dauert es beim Pad 10-15 Sekunden länger. 2 Display ist auch nicht besser 3 und dies ist ein echtes Problem: der SIM Schacht (tray) ist zu klein. Durfte meine SIM rundherum kürzen, bis zum Kontaktfeld. Jetzt passt sie immer noch nicht, aber für mein Handy ist sie nun zu klein /fällt durch. Darf das Pad 8.7 zurück schicken und €15 für eine Ersatz SIM löhnen. TOLL!! €100-115 ist ein guter Preis für was geboten wird. Aber nicht ohne nutzbaren SIM Schacht. PS der SD Karten Schacht ist nutzbar.

This tablet is outstanding value. Ok,let's say from the outset,this is not an all sing dancing device,you wouldn't expect that at this price. If you just want a tablet to view You Tube,web browse, social media, pictures, then really at this price,look no further. 4 speakers deliver great sound,refresh at 90 HZ and the transfer from my old tablet was a piece of cake. I don't do gaming and reading other reviews,this is not the tablet for you if you do. Quite simply,this is a superb tablet for the price. Thinking of buying? Don't hesitate,do it.
