Das Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G ist ein robustes Tablet, ideal für den Außeneinsatz und anspruchsvolle Umgebungen. Das helle 8-Zoll-Display ist auch im Sonnenlicht gut sichtbar und der S Pen funktioniert reibungslos. Der wechselbare Akku und der No-Battery-Modus sind praktisch für lange Einsätze. Die Leistung ist jedoch nur durchschnittlich und der Sound durch einen Lautsprecher begrenzt. Die Kameras sind schwach und USB 3.0 fehlt, sodass externe Monitore nicht unterstützt werden. Der Preis ist hoch, aber die lange Software-Unterstützung und 5G machen es für Profis zuverlässig.

Very smooth navigation and use, power available and you can feel it, accurate geolocation, satisfactory battery life, a battery so easy to change that a three-year-old child could do it... two small downsides: the rather bulky case, which I think is essential to reach a high level of durability (but this eliminates the need for increased protection), and the price of course.

Katastrophe für ein Outdoortablet Regen bedient das Touch Display, Akku ist bei Kälte in Sekunden leer, bei Kälte oder Regen ist es nur mit dem mitgelieferten Stift zu bedienen denn man muß mit dem Finger mehrere male die Taste auf dem Touch Display tippen die man betätigen will und wenn man Pech hat betätigt es die gewünschte Aktion dann mehrfach. Nach der Frechheit einem soetwas vorzusetzen, bin ich am überlegen ob Samsung für mich noch bei anderen Geräten in Betracht kommt.

I bought the device to use for navigation om my motorcycle. Display is not bright enough in sunlight, I need to angle the screen to shade as much as possible. I find the GPS loses position frequently and coupled with poor battery performance the Active 5 has not met my expectations. On the plus side it seems to get regular software updates and appears to be durable so far after around 18 months of use.

Einrichten und Datenübernahme vom alten Gerät easy und schnell. Aktualisierung von Android 14 auf 16 problemlos. Wechselbarer Akku und Kopfhörerbuchse, super !!! Akku könnte etwas länger durchhalten und Arbeitsspeicher etwas größer ausfallen.

I have deployed almost 600 of these this year alone all over the UK. For what you get they are a pretty good Tablet. The ruggedness of it, the replaceable battery are all helpful in a busy work environment. We wished the device was faster at booting up as this causes crews to get frustrated. We are very happy about the dimensions being the same as the previous model. This has allowed us to reuse our charge cradles from the last devices, do keep this for the next model. The size of the screen is great for our crews to use as it's not too small to see the wording from the vehicles seat but it's also not too big to be a distraction or obstruction.
