Korg Volca Keys Analoger Loop-Synth

My first synth and great for starting on. Don't know what else a bigger synth can do but getting a good sound from this and even better through my Boss ME-90 effects for extra layers

I've played guitar as a hobby for over 30 years, and wanted to branch out into something different.After watching tons of videos I decided on the Volca Keys.Using the built-in keyboard and speaker really makes it seem like a toy, but connected to a decent PA or headphones it sounds like the real deal, and using a MIDI keyboard makes playing it much easier and more enjoyable. I bought an Arutria Keystep for it, and that has been perfect.I wouldn't try to use it for any sort of live performance though, because the oscillators fall out of tune sometimes, and then you have to stop playing for 3 seconds for it to tune itself. It's an easy fix, but one that could also ruin a song.I imagine I'll replace it with something a little better before long, but it has certainly sent me down the analog synth rabbit hole, and I like it.

I play guitar but wanted to branch out into some different stuff just for fun, and I am really liking this synth.I had a big keyboard several years ago, and it was great for getting a better overall understanding of music theory, but I'm actually having a lot more fun with this than I ever had with it.I am finding that analog vs digital means just as much in the synth world as it does in the guitar world.I can't wait to get a midi controller and another Volca unit.

Man glaubt dem Synthesizer seine Sound nicht, wenn man es nicht selbst hört. Und man kann ihm unglaubliches entlocken. Leider kommt er ohne Netzteil, das würde ich sehr empfehlen dazu zu kaufen. Mit Akkus hält er nicht allzu lange (etwa 4 Stunden) durch. Auf Konzerten würde ich ihn eher nicht mitnehmen, dafür sitzen die kleinen Kabel einfach zu locker. Wer schon immer mal für kleines Geld selbst patchen wollte und dabei viel mehr als dünne Sounds erwartet, liegt hier völlig richtig. Eherwas für schmale Finger.
