MAC Studio Face and Body Radiant Sheer Foundation 50ml - Verschiedene Farbtöne - N0

This is a review for the first/original formulation. I purchased this after hearing all of the rave reviews. However, the lasting power is so poor and almost too sheer. I plan on trying the new formulation to see how that compares. Not worth scouring the internet for. I will not purchase.

I really like the MAC face and bodies (OLD FORMULATION, have yet to try the new one). My favorite shade was C5 which was a touch too dark for me, but I found if I really worked it into my skin with a brush, it kind of tinted my skin, and I really liked how it came out. I found them to be quite sheer but yet they still made my skin look really good. They give you a bit of a glow, I’m convinced of this. I guess because it’s only partial coverage and also gives the skin a bit of color, it gives you a natural-looking, healthy look. Even though you can still see flaws, I still liked the overall effect. I did find that there was something in it that ever-so slightly irritated my skin, that’s why I put WNRP. This is the case with most of the MAC foundations I’ve tried, and for this one it was a real bummer cuz I really liked this formulation.

Pros: lightweight, reasonable coverage (I want my foundation to even my skin tone, not for it to cover every blemish) no caking dewy finish Very reasonable price no fuss packaging Cons: Doesn't last very long (6 hours-ish before it starts to wear off), but I do tend to touch my face throughout the day so I am partly to blame, also I have very oily skin

This is such a natural looking foundation that I would buy it again, but it has no staying power. By the end of the day when I take my make up off, there's almost no foundation on my face anymore. It may stay longer using a setting powder but that would spoil the natural look for me so I don't use one. However this is such a natural looking foundation it gets 4 stars from me, no one could tell you're wearing make up with this on. The only other slight problem is that it feels quite heavy and watery/slick on the skin, so it's quite uncomfortable, and it doesn't have amazing coverage although it evens out the skintone quite nicely which is what I wanted it for as I've got a lot of redness. You might need to use a concealer after this though if you have blemishes.

Used This Mac foundation to cover up tattoos before my wedding. It worked like a charm and actually didn’t rub off. I believe it is too heavy for my face though because I always am aware that it is sitting on my skin
