It works great, solid lightweight system, but Id spend a little more money and get a better-built setup if you can.

Cut to the chase: I bought this for smooth panning. Up and down is fabulous. Left and right, unless Im making a mistake is wobbly as heck. ...I must be making a mistake.

Ive had this tri-pod for a couple of months but have only used it about 6 times. One of the brackets on the leg has already broken and wont lock in place making it unusable. When I fold the legs out it wont lock in place

I may have lowered expectations by having a tripod that came with a camera kit. But this tripod in comparison is amazing. Works good for macro and medium format and has quick lock capability.

This tripod is durable and can handle heavier equipment. On thing to note: The handles extend for easier use, and retract to fit in the storage bag. The bubble level is a nice feature.
