Gitzo GK3532-82QD Mountaineer Kit Serie 3

Easily handles heaviest gear that Ive placed on it so far (gripped D500 Nikon w/Nikkor 200-500mm). Seems solid & stable. Found no sign of vibrations in photos. Extremely well made & works smoothly with no issues so far. Wish that Id bought this one years ago & skipped the ones that I did.

This is the 4th tripod that I have bought. I do not use some of them because they are so heavy. Others are lighter but not sturdy enough. The best tripod is the one that you have with you. This tripod is light enough to always be with you. The tripod mount is very important. This one is light enough to take with you and strong enough to hold lenses in portrait & landscape position. This is not an issue with long lenses which rotate but is important when using smaller lenses like a tilt shift or smaller zoom. Do not make the same mistake as me and buy a cheaper tripod and mount. Tripods ARE important. Wait until you can afford this one and buy it. It is NOT Cheap but is lightweight, sturdy and very easy to use. I wasted my money on other tripods ehich I will now never use

This is by far the best Tripod I've ever purchased. In the past 6 years I have had 5 different tripods,and I'm happy to say this one I'm keeping. I use it for city and landscape photography and it works great for both. Its light enough to carry for hours in the outdoors and hiking up and down mountains, and the twist locks legs are great compared to the clamp locks that I always had sand and dirt collecting in them.

This tripod gives the rock solid support anyone could ever want for all types of photography. It is very well made and functions with ease.
