Gitzo GK2545T-82QD Traveler Kit Series 2

This is my second Gitzo tripod, I still use both. They definitely have the reputation of being the best made Tripods.

Nearly a superb product except that the pan and the friction and tilt adjustment knobs turn so freely that they very easily work themselves loose when on the move and then drop off and bits get lost.

Bought this Tripod in July 2020, hardly used it to start with, started using it more and as it came out of warranty that's when the problems started, first the lockable plate kept falling off after replacing it twice sent it back to Gitzo to replace now the turning head on the ball head has jammed and had to send back to gitzo to replace. As it's out of the 2 year warranty I have to pay for this. You would expect for the money you have paid for the Tripod it would last longer than two years. No issues with Wex they were helpful unlike Gitzo who don't care and just want more money to fix it.

Bought this during a sale as it was a bit pricey but now I know why. The construction is next to none. It may not have the best payload at 12kg but it's way more than I need and it's lighter and more durable than the competition I was originally going to purchase

Super Stativ !! Bin begeistert von der Verarbeitung , dem Gewicht und dem sehr geringen Packmaß. Auch bei der Kombination Canon 5 D Mark IV und 70-200 l is usm schwingt das Stativ nicht nach.Für mich das Perfekte Reisestativ!!
