Tests heben vor allem 4K60‑Modi und 120‑Hz‑Spiele hervor, während die Konsole gleichzeitig leise und kühl bleibt. Die 2‑TB‑SSD ist ein großer praktischer Vorteil, da man seltener Spiele löschen muss, und Wi‑Fi 7 beschleunigt Downloads. Der Mehrwert ist jedoch nicht für alle gleich: Der grafische Sprung zeigt sich meist in Detailtreue und Stabilität, nicht in einer völlig neuen Erfahrung. Der Preis liegt deutlich höher, und wer bereits eine PS5 besitzt, sollte genau abwägen, ob der Gewinn bei Bildqualität und Framerate das Upgrade rechtfertigt. Da es sich um die Digital Edition handelt, können zudem keine Discs genutzt werden, was für Sammler und Schnäppchenjäger ein Nachteil ist.

Searched everywhere in the UK for a PS5 Pro and finally found it at Costco for £100 cheaper than standard retail! Traveled to the store to pick it up but found out it’s an online-only deal. Still, saving £100? Absolute no-brainer. Definitely worth ordering online!

Nothing to complain about in terms of operation. But Sony should perhaps slow down a bit on design and take an interest in practicality: when you lay the console flat, it tips on its 2 small, very light plastic feet, even with a disc drive added on the lower part of the console. The PS4 may not have been a work of art, but at least it stood firmly on its feet.
