LG SC9S Soundbar

I really wanted this to work with my 55inch C class tv, It worked well and sounded OK, BUT the sound could only be controlled with the supplied remote and not the TV remote. Yes I did follow all the instructions. Do check that your sound bar will work on the tv remote before you buy it. Sorry it's a poor review .

Very nice sound Bar. Looks good. Sound quality is good as well. Bought this unit to pair with my LG TV to improve sound. PS5 sounds great. Very confusing trying to set up. Unable to use App as I don't have a router to connect to. Sound tuning is very confusing as well, trying to understand the blinking light sequence.

This soundbar was purchased to go with the LG OLED TV we have (that TV wouldn't connect to the Bose soundbar). This soundbar was recommended for this TV; however, it seldom connects, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to connect (when it will); it will NOT connect to the wifi...the bluetooth connection is echoey and the sound is awful. I wish I could take this thing into an open field and have at it with a baseball bat!!!

I bought this sound bar on the assumption I would be able to have surround sound. REAR SPEAKERS ARE NOT AVALIBLE. LG help desk was useless in trying to provide a resolution.

Great sound, looks sleek and modern, app is nice feature to adjust sound type depending on what you're watching. LG website says soundbar is a perfect pairing with my LG C4 TV and magic remote. It's not. After 2 lengthy trouble shooting sessions with LG was informed that the remote will only control the soundbar with optical cable connection not HDMI ARC connection. This was a noticeable downgrade in sound quality, so will pass and continue with 2 remotes unfortunately... Not sure I would have paid the premium for this soundbar knowing that!
