Die Suunto 9 Baro Black überzeugt durch ihre extrem lange Akkulaufzeit, robuste Bauweise und zuverlässige Outdoor-Funktionen wie Barometer und Höhenmesser. Die Uhr eignet sich ideal für lange Abenteuer und intensive Trainings, vor allem dank kratzfestem Saphirglas und vielen Sportmodi. Die Pulsmessung und Navigation sind jedoch weniger präzise oder benutzerfreundlich als bei manchen Konkurrenten. Aufgrund der Größe ist die Uhr für schmale Handgelenke weniger geeignet. Insgesamt eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für ernsthafte Outdoor-Sportler, die Zuverlässigkeit und Ausdauer suchen.

The watch works ok for the most part but the heart rate monitor is extremely inaccurate and the watch goes into a strange blank mode every now and then, it can’t be used for hours and has to be reset.. I was hoping for a better experience from a premium watch. Unfortunately this will be my last Suunto purchase.

I've always wanted a Suunto 9 and by chance a friend was selling his and I bought it off him. He is an ultra runner and the watch had never let him down. When I got the watch the first thing I noticed was how well built it was. Solid. I've got other brand watches and despite being good, none of them are built with such attention to quality. I use this watch for my own adventures and ultra's and it's been superb. Navigation is great (I don't need topo maps, just when to turn left/right etc) and the battery life is awesome. All in all, I love this watch. It's brilliant, and lives up to my expectations of what a Suunto 9 is. I won't be selling this one for many years.

A very good tool for swimming, I recommend it to everyone who swims in open water. If possible, return the decimal numbers for temperature indicator, it could be werry important sometimes in the water.

I'm a Suunto loyalist for a few simple reasons: My previous Suunto (ambit3) still works with no glitches. I've switched to Suunto 9 baro and have been using it for the past couple of years on a daily training basis, to support my triathlon addiction, and it never let me down. I had occasional glitches sorted with a soft reset and/or re-synch. Second reason is I like the design though this is totally personal criteria. So yeah...my next watch will be Suunto.
