Die Huawei Watch 3 ist eine Smartwatch mit rundem 1,43-Zoll-Farbdisplay und schwarzem Gehäuse. Sie bietet mehrere Tage Akkulaufzeit je nach Nutzung, integrierten Speicher für Medien sowie Fitness- und Gesundheitsmessungen. Die Uhr unterstützt eSIM für eigenständige Nutzung, kabellose Verbindungen zu Smartphones und verschiedene Sportprofile. Sie wird mit einem Armband geliefert und ist für den täglichen Gebrauch am Handgelenk konzipiert.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 is a brilliant wearable. It successfully bridges the gap between smart and fitness watches and does it seemingly effortlessly. Better still, it offers impressive battery life despite having such a sizeable AMOLED display. Highly recommended.

Obwohl ich Apple-„Fan“ bzw. vor allem vom iPhone bin, gefällt mir die viereckige Apple Watch überhaupt nicht. Ein klassisch rundes Design finde ich persönlich viel schöner und die intensiven Farben sowie der Schwarzwert vom OLED-Display sind ein Highlight für mich (wer einen OLED TV hat, der weiss was ich meine). Ich benutze die Smartwatch nur für das Nötigste, d.h. einiges nicht aktiviert, eSim brauche ich nicht. So hält der Akku locker 3 Tage. Samsung, ab Watch 4 (android) und Apple (iOS) verlieren meiner Meinung nach Kunden mit der gegenseitigen „nicht” Kompatibilität mit ihren Smartphones. Es gibt zB sicher Samsung-Nutzer denen die Apple Watch besser gefällt oder wie bei mir die Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 als iPhone-Nutzer mehr zusagt. Aufgrund dieser Inkompatibilität ging meine Galaxy Watch 4 retour (Weihnachtsgeschenk) und die Huawei Watch 3 Active finde ich jetzt sogar besser (ich liebe das OLED-Display).

The Huawei Watch GT 3’s lack of third-party apps and rich notification support means it’s more of a fitness tracker in smartwatch form, but with in-depth tracking and a stunning design, it’s still a worthy choice.
