Die Garmin Forerunner 165 Music ist eine GPS-Laufuhr mit rundem 43-mm-Gehäuse und einem Gewicht von 39 Gramm. Die Uhr hat ein 1,2 Zoll großes AMOLED-Farbdisplay mit einer Auflösung von 390 x 390 Pixeln. Der Akku hält bis zu 11 Tage im Smartwatch-Modus und bis zu 19 Stunden im GPS-Modus. Mit 4 GB internem Speicher kann die Uhr etwa 500 Musiktitel speichern. Die Wasserdichtigkeit beträgt 5 ATM und ist für Pool und Regen geeignet.

The Forerunner 165 Music is a very user-friendly watch, with an intuitive layout and functions. One thing that reviews don’t seem to mention, however, is that it’s not actually that easy to load music onto the watch from an online platform. I suspect the watch’s internal Wi-Fi antenna is simply rather weak. You need to be right next to your home router to copy a playlist onto the watch. That’s something worth keeping in mind.
