The Garmin Enduro is a GPS multisport watch with an insanely long battery life and some trail running-specific features that even non-trail runners will appreciate. Choose the Enduro if you are torn between the Fenix 6 and the Forerunner 945 and have this much money to spend on a running wearable. You won't be disappointed.

There’s no doubt the Enduro is more watch than most people need at a price that many will struggle to justify. But if your budget stretches – or you can convince someone else to treat you – this watch is a luxury worth having. It’s a comprehensive all-rounder built for endurance but with reliable GPS, solid heart rate performance and an impressive suite of training, racing, recovery and health tracking, it’s equally good as your regular training partner, particularly if you train more than once a day. Maps and music are a frustrating omission, but that’s a small sacrifice to make for a watch that potentially only needs charging 12 times a year.

The Garmin Enduro isn’t the most feature-rich watch in its collection, but if you want a Fenix-style watch that’s light, has similar sports tracking abilities and has the kind of battery performance to keep you away from your charger for a month and potentially even longer, this is a watch you want on your wrist.
