Die Netatmo Smart Überwachungskamera mit Sirene bietet zuverlässige Bewegungserkennung und unterscheidet Personen, Tiere und Fahrzeuge, was gezielte Benachrichtigungen ermöglicht. Die Nachtsicht bis zu 15 Meter liefert auch im Dunkeln brauchbare Bilder. Die leistungsstarke integrierte Sirene schreckt Eindringlinge ab und das wetterfeste Design macht die Kamera für den Außeneinsatz geeignet. Ein großer Vorteil sind die fehlenden Abonnementgebühren: Alle Funktionen und Speicher sind kostenlos. Nachteile sind das Fehlen von Zwei-Wege-Audio, sodass keine Kommunikation über die Kamera möglich ist, und gelegentliche Überbelichtung bei Nachtsicht durch starke Beleuchtung. Die Sirene kann zudem nicht direkt mit HomeKit integriert werden, was die Integration einschränkt. The camera is now installed for six months (as of Feb 2018) in my driveway. I was concerned about the cold winter weather we have here in Quebec, Canada, but so far so good. The quality of the image is good and the light is powerful enough for my driveway (24 feet long by 15 feet wide). The iOS application is easy to use. The camera is about 50 feet away from my home router and I never loose the wifi connection.

I have had this camera for about 4 months now and I am not happy with inconsistent performance. Seems to be affected with COLD temperature -15 or below. Had to replace the SD card and almost RMA-d the device but it miraculously started working again. Will see how long that lasts. Video quality is generally good and motion detection is very useful to cut-down on pointless alerts.

Netatmo Presence is an overall great product with cutting-edge technology to provide high functional surveillance solution for my home security. This camera features a long range IR night vision up to 65 ft (20 m), which is a big plus for night time monitoring, as well as advanced ability to distinguish motion triggered by people, animal, car and others. (no other competitors have this feature yet) What we love most about Presence comes down to its flexibility on video storage (option of micro SD card, drop box or personal FTTP server), which means NO subscription fees whatsoever!!!! This feature alone is a deal maker as long term it will save us hundreds of dollars on cloud storage fees. The only thing I'd like to see on later Presence model would be facial recognition feature.

Installation and setup was a breeze. Flood light is brighter than I was expecting. Build quality is sturdy. Well worth the high price.
