Der Sweet Protection Looper Mips TE ist ein All-Mountain- und Parkhelm mit Mips und in-mold Impact Shields, die zusätzlichen Schutz bei harten und schrägen Aufprallen bieten. Der Helm ist relativ leicht, verfügt über ein komfortables Innenfutter und ein einfaches Drehsystem, mit dem sich die Passform präzise einstellen lässt. Die großzügige Belüftung und die integrierte Skibrillenbelüftung halten den Kopf kühl und die Brille meist beschlagfrei, wobei einige Nutzer die festen Öffnungen an sehr kalten Tagen als etwas zugig empfinden. Die abnehmbaren, audiofähigen Ohrenpads erleichtern das Musikhören, allerdings müssen die passenden Audio-Chips separat gekauft werden. Das klare, reduzierte Design spricht viele All-Mountain- und Park-Fahrer an, auch wenn der Preis höher ist als bei Einstiegshelmen ohne Mips und die offene Klasse-B-Bauweise weniger umschließende Abdeckung bietet als Full-Shell-Modelle.

This is the best "entry-level" helmet I've ever used. This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and the vents offer a nice mix between warmth and breathability. The back-band tightening mechanism is easy to adjust and sets this helmet apart from its competitors in the "entry-level" space.

This and previous model of Looper helmets are just odd in their fitment - never had any brand fit like this. I'm in the XL and chart states my head is at the lower-end of the range (as expected, should be plenty of adjustment available) but even one or two clicks of the boa system tightened makes it feel far too tight at the sides and (oddly) top of the helmet. It feels like there's a flat spot rather than a dome shape at the top of the helmet. Tried various fit-pads included for both this model and non-MIPS Looper but nothing worked. Apparently my head doesn't work with the Sweet Protection human head schematic which is strange. Can't imagine I'm the only one (Smith, Giro, Arai, Cannondale, Glade, etc never had an issue like this with). Too bad because it's good looking, lightweight and decent feature-set. Hope it works for your head!

We love Sweet Protection. Note they run a little smaller than other brands so we get a little bigger size.
