It's lightweight, and the headlamp holder is great. However, there's very little goggle security, and the lower back of your skull will not be protected by this helmet. If I take a big fall in the backcountry, I can't afford to lose my goggles... or smack my lower skull on something (though this is less likely and I'll do what I can to avoid this haha). Also, the goggle fit looks weird, my straps rise 25 degrees instead of going straight back like on other helmets. I don't approve of these design choices, so I'm returning mine.

This helmet is exactly what I was looking for - a lightweight, breathable backcountry ski helmet. I usually run hot and sometimes don't want to remove my helmet for a short transition. This helmet does pretty well and I don't get overheated on short skinning laps.

Low profile ski touring or splitboarding helmet that is very comfortable. Fits well with beanies and specifically hats that I like to tour with. Low profile so it sits on the outside of my backcountry pack easily. I've always been discouraged to take a helmet into the backcountry because of the weight and bulk, but not anymore! Pretty special that this helmet also hold certifications for a climbing helmet too so it's very versatile.
