Der POC Fornix Mips ist ein All-Mountain-Skihelm, der für sein hohes Sicherheitsniveau dank der Kombination aus MIPS-Technologie und Aramidschichten in der Schale bekannt ist. Der Helm ist relativ leicht, bietet mit einem 360°-Anpassungssystem einen komfortablen Sitz und verfügt über umfangreiche, einstellbare Belüftungskanäle, die helfen, den Kopf je nach Bedingungen kühl oder warm zu halten. Spezielle Öffnungen und ein fester Goggle-Clip sorgen zudem für ein gutes Zusammenspiel mit Skibrillen und reduzieren das Beschlagen der Gläser. Mögliche Nachteile sind der höhere Preis im Vergleich zu vielen Konkurrenten, die In-Mold-Konstruktion, die etwas empfindlicher für kosmetische Schäden sein kann, sowie ein Belüftungsregler, der sich mit dicken Handschuhen nicht immer leicht bedienen lässt. Wie bei jedem Helm kann die Passform für bestimmte Kopfformen weniger gut geeignet sein, weshalb Anprobieren vor dem Kauf zu empfehlen ist.

Becareful with this one. It runs small and I had to return it with a $12 return shipping charge. For my head I need XL. I ordered the Xl/XXL and it was very tight on the sides.

I ordered a black but got something that resembled the apartite blue instead (logos missing as on the black). Otherwise helmet looks great, got a medium for my 56cm head and it was very snug

POC is synonymous with safety helmets, and they look good and have a lot of vents. Very suitable for Asian heads.

My son loves this helmet. Super comfortable. This helmet doesn't bother his ears and keeps his head warm. It sits comfortably in a safe position and very easy to spot on the mountain.

Great helmet. Nice & light. Easy to adjust sizing & remove/replace the ear pads. Very stylish as well and the venting system works great. Having MIPS technology is a nice bonus knowing that it'll help keep you safe.
