Der Oakley Mod1 Helm wurde als einfacher, aber technisch ausgereifter Ski- und Snowboardhelm mit niedrigem Profil entwickelt, der sich am klassischen Skate-Stil orientiert. Durch das BOA 360°-Fitsystem schließt der Helm gleichmäßig um den Kopf und verbessert so Stabilität und Tragekomfort an langen Tagen im Park oder auf der Piste. Feste Ventilationskanäle leiten Luft von der Skibrille durch den Helm und helfen, Beschlag zu reduzieren, während der Fidlock-Magnetverschluss das Auf- und Absetzen mit Handschuhen deutlich erleichtert. Die schmalen, abnehmbaren Ohrpads sorgen für gutes Hörvermögen und erlauben das Tragen des Brillenbands unter dem Helm, isolieren jedoch weniger bei extremer Kälte und bieten keine integrierte Audiolösung. Zudem fehlt der Standardversion des Mod1 ein MIPS-Liner oder vergleichbarer Rotationsschutz, und die relativ schmale, niedrig geschnittene Passform ist für Fahrer mit breiteren oder sehr runden Kopfformen nicht immer optimal.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
