Der Oakley MOD1 Skihelm Senior richtet sich an Ski- und Snowboardfahrer, die einen minimalistischen, freestyle-inspirierten Helm mit moderner Sicherheitstechnik suchen. Das leichte In-Mold-Design mit niedrigem Profil und das BOA 360°-Fitsystem sorgen für einen engen und präzisen Sitz rund um den gesamten Kopf, was besonders bei langen Park- oder Pistenruns angenehm ist. In der MIPS-Ausführung wird der Schutz vor Rotationskräften bei Stürzen weiter verbessert, während der Fidlock-Verschluss die Bedienung mit Handschuhen erleichtert. Die feste Belüftung liefert einen konstanten Luftstrom, und zusammen mit abnehmbaren, waschbaren Ohrpads und Futter lässt sich der Helm gut an unterschiedliche Bedingungen anpassen. Nachteile sind die nicht verstellbare Belüftung, der höhere Preis der MIPS-Version und dass das stark freestyle-orientierte Design sowie die einfache Ausstattung nicht für jeden Allmountain- oder Tourenskifahrer ideal sind.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
