Decksaver Roland TR-8S Umschlag

Delighted but with the Roland TR8S. Much fun (noise) has been had. Not so sure my girlfriend is as happy as I am right but enough!! Hahaha

I didnt buy from here but I own it and had to leave a second review. the person who left a bad review must have been frustrated. if there were previous issues Im not experiencing them. Its a big learning curve but this thing is a WORKHORSE! I work for one of the world most popular rock bands out there and have used this to sample and work out some amazing drum loops and patterns. LOVE IT!

There are problems with the TR-8S as of 3/14/18. I am on the latest firmware, and the drum machine will often not play sounds that are on the timeline. It will also often continue to play sounds after you remove them. You are supposed to be able to hear a preview of an instrument or sample with the pressure sensitive tap button. It does not always work, and will often not play sounds, even if you hit it repeatedly, as it is bugged. I have had very long hold times with Roland. I was recently on hold for 30 minutes, before I got hung up on and had to call back. That's what prompted me to write this review. I am currently calling to report problems with my unit, and I've been on hold 30 min, and had to call back to wait again. I bought my unit from Sam Ash 2 days after it was released.
