Patagonia Rucksack Atom Sling 8L damen

Nicely constructed sling bag with a couple exceptions. The good points… nice construction, it hangs well on my back and is easy to swing around to access the pouches. Side zip access to the pouches is easier than a top access pouch (like many other sling bags) in my opinion. I wish the zipper access was just a little bit longer, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Would’ve liked to have had another interior mesh pouch inside the outermost pouch. The only real negative I can mention is the shoulder strap pouch is too small to hold a cell phone, which is contrary to what the advertisement indicates. I still like the product and I’m looking forward to using it for many years.

It is hard to imagine what the designer of this bag was thinking. Both zippers are too short, making the main portion of the bag and the pocket hard to access. No useful features were added to the interior such as a pocket or two , a loop to attach keys, etc. The expandable pocket on the strap was too small to be of much use. My cell phone barely fit. I have many Patagonia products that I am happy with, but this one I returned.

Good size for day hiking with water and first aid kit.

Just the right size to hold the essential not to big not too small good quality

This would be good for travel, but I found it difficult for hiking. The pockets are just slightly too small — it was hard to fit a standard Owala in the big one, and an iPhone Pro Max in the chest pocket (even without its zipper). Getting the bottle out multiple times per hike to get water was more of a hassle than I expected.
