This is a seriously good piece of kit. It removes paint,varnish and wood in no time and is easy to use being fairly vibration free. The Makita discs seem to last a longer time than others I have used in the past. When connected to a vacuum it is almost dust free on the work surface and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Bought this to use as a finishing sander on small projects. Brilliant little machine that gathers enough dust to make it very comfortable to use. Fits in the hand nicely and with a 10mm foam interface pad is a joy to use on curved surfaces

Just what one expects from Makita, good build quality, quite quiet and gets on with the job. only had it a short time so can't star it for longevity, hence 4 stars. Nice bit of kit feels good to hold.
