Samsonite Rain Pro Flat Handbuch Regenschirm

I was surprised at how flimsy this product was - it looks and feels nice but it is not strong and will not do well in any wind.

I purchased this umbrella for £25 on April 13th 2022. It has broken tonight after I was walking in the rain. Why it broke is because I sometimes like to spin my hand from side to side to shake off the rain. There isn't much force when I do this and when I did it tonight I felt it bend slightly. This is when I noticed a split in the thin metal/plastic where the locking mechanism is which proceeded to split further while I was walking and then the part above the handle underneath the locking mechanism completely broke off. I'd imagine this would have happened eventually due to the windy days when I was using the umbrella and it being blown strongly in different directions.

I chose Samsonite for its quality and the automatic open and close function has already stopped working after a few uses.

I liked the pocket size nature of the product but not actually great as an umbrella - too small in circumference and too fragile in wind.

Bought it a month ago and used it for the first time last week and after use it was put in the airing cupboard. Went to use it again today and it was rusting all over. Very poor quality.
