Makita DJV 180 RMJ Akku Stichsäge 18V + 2x Akku 4,0Ah + Ladegerät + Makpac

Bought this tool because I have other Makita tools and batteries. Turns out that not all Makita 18V batteries are the same: the ones I have do not fit on this tool:((((( Beware that you have the right Makita 18V batteries. Had I known I would have looked at other brands.

Ditched the cord and went cordless. Had all the batteries so decided to give this a try. Perfect for quick cuts at the site and just as good as my corded.

I do like the jigsaw, but find it hard to see where it is actually cutting. This is a bit of a design issue that i see they have tried to fix with a notched guide. Still a little hard, but I needed one that went with the batteries that I had.

You know youre buying a top quality product when youre buying Makita! Other cordless tools have lasted me a decade and still running so why not continue with them. Good weight distribution.
