Samsonite Securipak 2.0 15.6" Backpack Tagesrucksack

I was after a backpack which a passer by couldn't access, particularly when I'm standing in a queue. So, after doing a lot of research, this is the one I chose. I gave this 4 stars, because of the lengthy straps which are left dangling after the shoulder straps are adjusted. (There really ought to be some sort of mechanism to cater for these.) I had to buy something separate to make them look neat and tidy. Have yet to use it when I go travelling, but I'm confident that it'll do the job.

Ich nutze schon seit Jahren diese Samsonite Security Rucksäcke. Mir gefällt besonders, dass sie schön flach sind und so nahe am Rücken anliegen. Ausserdem fahre ich mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit und jetzt in der dunklen Jahreszeit bin ich froh um den reflektierenden Streifen. Ich habe gerade neu einen Rucksack gekauft, da der alte vom vielen Gebrauchen an der unteren Kante zerschlissen war. Der Rucksack gefällt mir sehr gut, ausser einer Änderung: der Rucksack lässt sich ganz aufklappen, wenn man seitlich je zwei stoffklappen löst. Zuvor wurden die Klappen mit Druckknöpfen geschlossen und die Klappen waren versteift. Jetzt ist dort ein Klettverschluss an einem labrigen Stoff.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung, praktische Einteilung des Innenbereichs: Platz für Trinkflasche und Schirm, neben den Fächern für IPad oder Ebook. Besonders gut finde ich, das kleine Extrafach für Schlüssel, Handy u.a. Wichtig für mich ist insbesondere das Gefühl, das Dritte nicht an die Fächer kommen. Toll gelöst.

I bought the 14 inch version first as I like minimalist size but just a little too small for me and also the side pockets wouldn’t hold my 330ml drinks bottle. Apart from this I like the look of the bag and the fact that all pockets are well hidden and safe. After struggling to fit my work ‘stuff’ in it as well as a drinks bottle inside, I bought the 15.6 inch version and it’s a better size for my needs. However, bizarrely I could fit my iPad Air into the tablet sleeve in the 14 inch version but it won’t fit in the sleeve in the 15.6 inch version, hence marking this down slightly. The other reason for marking down is the fact that the loose strap ends on the shoulder straps don’t have any retainers so I’ve had to buy something separately to do this (from a well known online retailer) - I’ve never had this issue on the many laptop backpacks I’ve owned previously. All in all a good bag, slim and neat looking and well made.

This is a great bag with lots of pockets. It helps me feel less anxious with my laptop and money etc in crowded cities. It is a great carry on bag for flights but also for overnight business trips or longer commutes.
