I purchased this bag for a five week overseas adventure, and it did not disappoint. I used this bag to carry my camera and many other things in San Francisco, Calgary, Banff National Park, British Columbia, Vancouver Island and Vancouver. It also was used on six hikes in Canada, with the longest being 35kms. The perfect size to be carried on as hand luggage, and the rear entry always meant that your camera gear was protected and safe. Carried in the bag were: - Nikon D750 full frame DSLR - Tamron 24-70mm g2 lens (attached to the camera) - Tamron 70-200mm g2 lens - two spare camera batteries - passport wallet - notebook - filter pouch (with three filters) - tech pouch - puffer jacket (inside the top pocket) - rain jacket (strapped to the outside of the bag) - Vanguard Veo 2 Go tripod - water bottle - snacks

This has been a welcome addition to my camera gear. Well designed with just enough space while not being overly large. Well thought out and easy to access.Very comfortable for day use.

Bought this bag for a 3 day trip to the Colorado Rocky's. I easily fit in my DSLR, 2 lenses and a Go-Pro into the padded compartment, with room to spare. The bag was comfortable and distributed the weight well. I do wish I had purchased the 450 version of this bag, as I could have used more room in the top-compartment of this bag. In the 350, I was only able to fit in a lightweight jacket, a few granola bars and a 500ml bottle of water - this is not a fault with the bag, but me for picking the smaller (cheaper) option.

If you are hiking with a camera body and few lens, this is a great backpack. My D500 and two lens fit easily into the flipside area. I liked the ability to access my equipment without having to take the backpack off. However you can't have the waistbelt too tight or it won't rotate. The side pockets easily accommodate a small travel tripod and water bottle. The other accessory straps can be used to hold trek poles.
