Gregory Jade 28 Lt Rc Damenrucksack

I’m 5 foot 2 and about 140 pounds this pack is incredible for day hike especially when it’s hot, the mesh keeps the pack off of you. it’s like luxury suspension on this thing

This is a pretty terrible pack. I have 30 years hiking and backpacking experience and know how to fit a pack to my frame and the physics of packing. No matter how it was loaded, or the straps and load lifters were adjusted, the pack pulled back hard pressing on my collarbones. It also swayed side to side as I walked rubbing my shoulders raw. The side pockets are not easy to access for a water bottle. The arm straps curl to the outside rubbing the inside of the arms they swing. I adjusted this thing 8 ways from Sunday and could never get it comfortable. Are people just putting up with this?

Der Rucksack ist sehr wertig, gut durchdacht und ich hätte ihn sehr gerne behalten. Leider musste ich ihn zurück schicken, da die Träger zu lang für mich waren und mein Bauchumfang etwas zu gering war für den Bauchgurt.

I bought the Gregory Jade 28 (Women’s Medium, 41–51 cm) in orange because I wanted something bigger than a daypack but still light enough for short trips. It’s exactly what I was looking for! This pack is extremely comfortable—the hip straps are amazing and really help distribute weight evenly. I took it on a 13-mile hike and it performed beautifully. The hip belt and pockets are super convenient and easy to use while hiking. The only issue I had was the sternum strap, which broke on the first day, but Gregory’s customer service was outstanding and sent me a replacement right away. Overall, I’m so happy with this pack—comfortable, practical, and perfect for longer day hikes or light overnighters. Highly recommend!

I ordered the gray one after trying on an orange one in store. Loved everything about it! Then, after 10-15 miles of hiking, the stitching at the top near the frame started unraveling. REI employees were fantastic, took it back, and I ordered the exact same pack as a replacement because I loved the fit. As soon as the second pack came via mail, I opened it and the sternum strap broke while I was unbuckling everything to try it on. Really turned me off to the brand because I had heard such great things about their products.
