The Linksys MX4200 Velop is a superb choice if you want to upgrade your home Wi-Fi to a pro-level mesh network without paying over the odds. Coverage, speeds and the ease of the setup process all impress, though it's perhaps not the very best choice out there.

I have been having problems with Wi-Fi continually dropping or not available in areas within my condo, but now with the Linksys Velop system I have been able to experience internet availability in all areas!

Works ok when connected turn on a new device such as Apple TV, iPad, or Xbox, pretty much any streamable device internet goes down for a few minutes maybe comes back or I have to unplug routers to restart them. good for paper weights only. Also if purchased from best buy only have 14days to return so cant even return. Buying an orbi from netgear

Been doing network administration for over 15 years. This router is garbage. Network speeds, including internet, are throttled. This means they’re slowed down. Even on previous firmware, disabling device prioritization, manually configuring devices, and even setting the router up to allow one device connected to it, and bandwidth is throttled. Buyer beware

Took much effort t connect to router, app is great just did not want to connect. Then, after it finally connected, it needed to be rebooted every other day it froze up. The final straw was that it would not reboot after one of the roboots. We used it for about a month, lost about a day of billable time. Two lunch boxes with some electronics in it for $300+ dollars should just work. Returned the ple and went with competitor product. Always used airport, never an issue, but unfortunately they don’t make those anymore. Stay away, not sure where the 5 star reviews are coming from…
