D-Link DWR-932 Mobile WiFi Hotspot, 4G LTE, WiFi, 150Mbps

Purchased. Insrted the SIM, new, registered, working on mobile phone. This little thing D-Link connected very slowly twice. Dropped the connection, then later did not even connected. Needed to remove the battery several times just to get it switched on...Having it for a few days, used a few times, and now dead again...no way to figure out how it works steadily - because it does not.

I'm really annoyed because Amazon isn't being helpful at all. Unfortunately I finally opened this item a month after ordering it (ordered it for backup purposes), only to find that the buttons literally are stuck / dislodged. Makes

I use it to extend the wifi network from my DSLR camera to my i pad and it works perfectly. Easy to set and battery easily lasts for the full working day. Can't say anything about internet connection as I'm not using any sim card.

The Smarty Sim card which I bought with this device can only be used in the UK . I bought an EIR sim card locally but this is not compatible with the D-Link device . Therefore I conclude the the device should not be purchased by customers who live outside of the UK .

Worked for the first month (chewed up my data) and then when I went to top up data, it refused to connect to the internet again no matter how many times I rebooted it, even though the signal symbol on the screen was blue. The sim worked perfectly in my phone but not in this device for some reason. I initially used O2 then Vodafone. Have spent hours trying to get it to work including even ringing O2 thinking it was their fault! Have finally given up and will be disposing of it.
