Did it extend the WiFi in the house? No. Did it operate seamlessly? No, the app would only register if you were two meters from a pod. Did it work through parental control? No, because it struggles to identify devices. Looks very smart but didn’t meet our requirements.

I wouldn’t buy this again. When it works, it’s great. Good coverage, high speeds and discreet sized modules. BUT… the app and setup procedure is absolutely awful with Apple kit. I’ve followed every bit of advice on the manufacturer site and elsewhere and still can’t get it to work. Handoff between modules seems to be hit and miss also. Random device disconnects have increased massively since I installed the D-link kit as a replacement for an Apple Time Machine. I’d look elsewhere even if this is discounted.

Bought these as a replacement for BT whole home wifi discs. Worst mistake ever! The app is useless and most of the time states you can't connect and check wifi. Wifi connections to an Xbox one, Ipad, Amazon smart plug and Kasa smart plug were intermittent and sporadic. If you set these up in bridge mode you don't get some functionality like you do in router mode; e.g. a guest network. No mention in the manual about ethernet backhaul, if it can be used and how to use it. Others have said you can change the wifi channels in use - how? Nothing in the app or webgui to change channels. I did improve wifi stability a little by disabling DFS channels but it was still inconsistent. I think I was sent the first prototypes, that's how bad they are. Don't bother with these. Back to my old BT wholehome wifi discs for now until some decent Wifi 6 and WPA3 enabled mesh network nodes are available.

Incredible value for money. Easy to set up and works well. My iPhone 12 now browses the web as if on steroids. I was a bit concerned when unboxing as the hubs are very light but the performance is excellent. They look good and are fairly unobtrusive. The second unit is two rooms from the router unit but gives very good speeds. Obviously only one Ethernet port per unit but that’s a minor consideration given the price. They also auto update which is good security benefit. Very pleased with them.
