The disappointing part is that the switch did not come with the power supply.

A very nice desktop router with VoIP capability. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple to setup and reliable router.

As a network engineer I like to use Cisco technology and this router has all the options one could want in a router. Usually the limit is the skill set, not the device

The Cisco 881 is a great way to get into the Cisco world. They are relatively cheap by Cisco standards while providing the flexibility in WAN port by providing a single Fast Ethernet port for the purpose. ADSL needs a cheap modem to be bridged, and the Cisco is happy to hold up the PPPoE session for you. For a basic router to hold up some VPN connections and run some basic ACL’s, you cannot go past this for home or office. Useful for offices of around 25 people, beyond that you would want to go for something with a little more kick.

I bought this router to implement as my new home wireless router, which would force me to have more incentive to practice IOS command. I was also studying for the CCNA test. This router allowed me to do a lot of programming because it is all aspects of cisco (switch, router, AP) it has an embedded AP which is logically separate and takes a little figuring out to program but once you get that part its quit simple if you really know your commands like you should if your going to pass the CCNA test. Its not very loud either so its perfect for a home wirelsess\wired router. This is not the router for you if you have no experience with any cisco IOS commands!
