Asus RT-AXE7800, Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Tri-Band (2,4 GHz/5 GHz/6 GHz), Ethernet/LAN, Schwarz, Tabletop-Router

The Asus RT-AXE7800 does just about everything you could ask for from a Wi-Fi 6E router and does it really well – and you also get some neat extras thrown in for free. No router is perfect for every user, but we think this would be a great upgrade for a lot of people.

Reasonably easy to set up, reliable. Good reception and throughput on both 2 and 5 GHz, even in a relatively noisy environment with 40+ stations nearby.

I purchased this router to replace an underperforming router from another company. The previous router was not working very well even though it was highly rated. This new ASUS router knocked it out of the park. I am very happy with this router and can certainly recommend it. I even added a mesh network to it and it is performing even better. The ASUS router APP made adding a mesh to very easy and effective.

I have been using this router for over a month now. The setup process was very simple with great instructions provided. As expected with Asus Routers, the firmware is excellent and market-leading in functionality and feature set. The new 6Ghz band is also fantastic to utilise without any congestion, unlike existing 5Ghz and especially 2.4Ghz which is super congested. Overall, a no-brainer purchase if you are looking for Wifi 6e!

The ASUS RT-AXE7800 is a very good router if you live in a multi-level house. It provides impressive speeds throughout the home that are suitable for high-bandwidth internet uses like 4k video streaming and quickly downloading large files. Since it's a standalone router and not a mesh system, it may leave some dead zones if you have a very large home with obstacles like masonry walls, but it's not an issue unless your home is substantial. Connectivity-wise, it has a 2.5 Gbps networking port and a USB 3.0 port for local file sharing. It features an interesting design with a game-like aesthetic that might not appeal to everyone.
